Hello Christina I would love a friendly chat. So how are you doing today? I am doing great just trying to get over this cold that just won't go away.

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 4:48 PM
Oh, hello, I was writting in my journal. Yeah I had a terrible cold about a week in a half ago. My sinus's. Nothing helped. Make sure you buy the kleenex with the lotion. I went through 2 big boxes and my nose was stil chapped and red. Vicks vapor rub helps a bit. Drink lots of fluids and eat soups for the steam.

Well G'day from WA! The Night Owl is here again.... still pregnant but with great news!

I have a brand new Beauty Rest Latex King Size bed coming this afternoon so I will be able to sleep the whole night through - which I guess means that I will not be frequenting the board quite as often -awwwwww

Hey, I was just leaving you a message in your journal LOL. You know you really need to adapt to my time hehehe. I actually got up this morning (yesterday to you) at 5. So like almost 5 hours ago. Hey I think Sabrina maybe got kicked off. I looked to see if she left an e-mail address behind...well in a few forums. Saw nothing. Pooey.

um arr you think so? Maybe she's just busy, when was the last time she wrote an entry?

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 5:58 PM
I'm not sure. I didn't check but it wasn't last night and she hasn't been on today. I suppose she could be busy but, I just don't know.

Name: Anne-Marie | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 6:15 PM
hmm curious. I have just added a journal entry.

Man....I got a fender classical acoustic guitar for Christmas from my honey and I haven't been playing it. But I put on Pink Floyd and it's getting me in the mood. Not that I can play like that...I'm still learning. But they're the ones who make me want to play so bad!! I'm listening to "Wish you were here" right now and it's putting me in a very good mood. My favorite song is "Is there anybody out there" because of the guitar. It's so beautiful. I just thought I'd say what I was feeling right now. I need to go tune my guitar. That's the sucky thing about when they're new. You play for just a little bit and then you have to tune them again.

"so....... so you think you can tell....... heaven from hell....... blue skies from pain........"

Dang it, I can't find my water colors, I wanted to finish a painting I had started awhile back. I'm feeling creative right now. Can't find my guitar tuner thing either and I'm not talented enough to tune it by ear.

Name: Anne-Marie | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 7:14 PM
Can you tell a green field........ from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil? ...... Do you think you can tell?

I love painting too....I have never heard of a tuning thingy tho - I get my bass done for me at the shop when it needs it.

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 7:24 PM
we have this tuner thing with batteries and it has a red light and green light and when they line up when you strike the string then you know it's in tune. Sorry I'm not using correct terms. I only know how to play a Nervana song and a Jewel song (part of one) that I taught myself on our electric guitar. I had most of the notes down, but my fingers were numb (and not comfortably..hehehe) so I asked for the classical acoustic for Christmas so I could keep practicing. Bad me! I used it once.

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 24th, 2006 7:29 PM
Oh, I found it! It's by Fender and it's called an "automatic guitar tuner" and then it says AT-3. It works for the bass too. I'm gonna have my bf show me so I'll know for sure If I'm doing it right. I guess I could read the instructions...

whoa!!!!! Sorry, it didn't look that long when I pasted it on there.
Oops! We can start a new thread I suppose.

Hey Christina how are you?

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:11 AM
I'm alright how are you?? I wondered if you were going to get on at all. I just had a crying fit. I'm okay now though. I just get tired that it seems that my boyfriend thinks drinking beer with his friends is more important than spending time with me. It just got to me all the sudden and I started balling at the fact that I was home alone again while he's over at another apt. drinking beer.

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:13 AM
Anyway, I sent him a text message saying that "just because I can't drink or want to be around it constantly doesn't mean that I want to be alone all the time" "and I wish I knew what it was like to have a compationate boyfriend, Not a drunk"

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:15 AM
So he came home and saw me crying and said he was sorry and kept kissing my hands and saying he loved me......oh and that he promised that he'd spend all next week at home with me and we could snuggle on the couch and he wouldn't even drink beer.......I told him that was fine and that I'll believe it when it happens.

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:20 AM
He said that he works hard all week and that drinking beer helps him relax and take away all the worries. I said....well I definately have worries too, but have to deal with them not only sober but all alone cause you're never here!
We'll see how next week goes. I won't put up with it much longer. There's no point in having a boyfriend if he's not going to be around other than to sleep and wake up and get ready, you know. And I definately won't have him drinking like that around the baby. Nope!

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:22 AM
Okay, had to get that out even though I wrote it all basically in my journal. I'm really okay now though. So how are you???? Isn't it like 4 in the afternoon there? Dang it where did you go? Hey 12 more days right? Or am I losing count?

Name: Anne-Marie | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:27 AM
Wow Christina, you are definately right, I am glad that you said all that to him.

It is around 4.30 in the arvo here, I am about to return some DVD's and grab some bacon to make carbonara for dinner this evening. I have had to clean out the pool today and clear the doorways of cobwebs and dust in preparation for my mother's arrival next weekend.

I am also going to get some nice plants to tidy up the place as I won't be able to do it when bubs is here will I! Talking of which - where is she?? 11 days to go now, oh jeese, nerves are a wracking hehehe

Name: Christina | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:33 AM
Yeah how exciting, I know I keep saying that, but it is and mine is still so far away, 113 days! I'm going to watch a dvd I brought from my moms house "the cave" I believe it's called. and just remembered that I have ben and jerry's peanut butter ice cream...yummy.

Name: ; - ) | Date: Feb 26th, 2006 8:35 AM
Well I'm gonna get off this thing since it seems as though you're going to be busy anyhow. Hope your day goes well.
