I just wanted to let you all know that I went into the hospital thursday night. And at 5:25 friday, June 23 my beautiful daughter was born! She weighed in at 9 pounds and 4 ounces! She's 21 1/2 inches long. I did it all on my own too, a natural child birth. This is the most precious thing that has ever happened to me. And I went through with the breastfeeeding, my pore nipples are throbbing but it's so worth it and what an amazing bond you get. Well duty calls, i gotta go. Thanks to all of you for your comments and advice that I've received. I'll try and get on later on to help those of you who've yet to experience this wonderful gift. ↓

Congradulations!!! I give you a whole lot of credit for doing it without meds, I know I couldn't...LOL. ↑ |
congratulationnnnnnnn,,,,really happy 4 u...did u have her on ur due date/? and what about labor...is it so scary as they r saying? ↑ |
Labor is scary but for me during it I didnt even realize it was just natural I guess Im pregnant with my second baby so it wasnt bad enough to make me not do it again haha ↑ |
Thank you every one! And to answer the labor question....I'm not gonna lie, it is scary, but the most helpful information I can give you is to remember when the contractions hit you, take a deep breath, REMAIN CALM, and blow out the pain! And proceed intil the contraction goes back down. You'll do so much better that way. My friend came in when I was about to go nuts with the pain, I was moaning and stuff and she said to keep quiet and consentrate to breath the pain out. Doesn't take it away of course but it will definately help you through it! I promise. And I would have taken the meds if I could but the doctor was too busy that's why I tore too instead of being cut. Her head is a whopping 35 centimeters! Can you say ouch, lol. ↑ |
Congrats on your new bundle of joy, don't give up with the BF it gets better and (BTW be glad you tore instead of the episiotomy the healing is much faster and more natural alot of doctors aren't even doing them anymore unless absolutly necessary) ↑ |
Congrats Christina!!!! I am soooo proud of you and happy that Farrah is finally here!
Dont forget to post pictures so i can see little Farrah!

Many Many Congrats to you and your family!! Hang in there breastfeeding does get easier! ↑ |
Congrats!!! Now, take good care of yourself and your baby girl! ↑ |
Thanks again everyone and I did post some pics in my journal. Although they don't do her any justice, she's so freakin cure but in the pics all you see is chub. LOL. You can find my journal under Christina Franklin. Oh and the breastfeeding has got better, I was reading in the LLL, the womenly art of breastfeeding book and they said to squeeze out some milk and let it dry on your nipples, so that it would heal the cracked and soreness and it's working like a charm.
Oh and last night she gave me soo much sleep, I think she's finally turning her days around, or maybe it was just a tease, we'll see. I'm getting the hang of this, this is a tough job though. But well worth it. ↑ |
Congrats well done for having a natural birth and 9pounds 4ozs that had to hurt! Lol ↑ |
Farah, My first son weighed 9 lbs and his head was 35 cm also so I know how you feel!! I ripped also. I just had my last baby 6 weeks ago he was 8lbs 90z......but he has a smaller head :) I guess I am just one of those people that have huge baby's! Must run in the family... ↑ |
