doing laundry is tough on me, bending down to get the clothes out of the drier...reaching in the washer to get the clothes out...its a chore.

Name: Jaqueline | Date: Jan 26th, 2006 4:55 PM
Oh yeah i hate doing laundry when i'm huge.

Picking up a piece of paper or something else you dropped on the floor. Also, tying your darn sneakers lol OMG.

Furthermore, taking a bath is really hard. I enjoy baths, but I have mostly had to take showers for the past month and a half. I am now 31 weeks AKA seven months, and I don't want to be caught home alone trying to take a bath at nine months. I would probably have to dial 911 to ask for help in getting out of the tub.

Getting out of bed. I'm sure we're all familiar with the slow roll instead of the sit up and go.

How about getting in and out of the car? Or if you are in the car and you drop something on the floor. You know ur not going to get it back until you get out of the car or someone else grabs it.

Putting my shoes on, shaving, mopping the bathroom floor on hands and knees. Seems everything is getting hard now! LOL

LMAO at the slow roll lol. You can say that again, and don't forget the caution taken while changing positions when sleeping. We are supposed to sleep on our left side because it provides the best circulation for the babies, but from time to time I need to carefully roll to my right side. That's a job too lol.

As a matter of fact I have a tip which I read on a pregnancy site. We should sleep in silk pajamas and on satin sheets. I can deal with the satin sheets, but it is too cold (for me) to sleep in any silk right now.

My son gets fussed at all the time now because he is 21, and I can't deal with him spilling things or leaving bounce sheets on the floor, and I'm left to pick it up. He gets fussed at about chores more than anything now.

LOL one day he was headed out the door, and I said COME BACK HERE lol; scared him. I said tie my shoe! lol then thanked him.

getting out of bed (you have to roll over)! sitting on the floor and trying to get back up! tying your shoe! clipping your toe nails! shaving! doing the dishes and standing on your feet too long where your back feels like its about to collapse! sex (to me its difficult because you cant toss and turn and it feels like pressure)! getting out of the bathtub! and theres soo much more..haha. good luck.

i think one of the hardest things is trying to shave down below, in the bikini area. i cant see it at all and i cant imagine what it must look like by now with all the blind shaving. anyone else have this problem. i almost dont want my husband to see in case it looks a mess!

Name: Jaqueline | Date: Jan 26th, 2006 9:30 PM
Yeah lily not sure what mine looks like either. I want to shave it but like you i can't see it.

LOL at you two. On a serious note, I am sure your husbands won't mind doing it. Men like doing things like that.

Name: Jaqueline | Date: Jan 26th, 2006 9:42 PM
Yeah i guess i'll ask my husband tonight. What about you lily?

Name: heather | Date: Jan 26th, 2006 10:44 PM
lol..you girls are crazy. your hubbys are there for you guys no matter what, i dont think that he would mind at all...lol..it would probably make him more than happy to do it. Also, my fiance does it but it scares me to have someone else shave. after a couple times, i do it myself and then make him check to see if its even afterwards..haha..its kind of a touch and shave,..hit or miss situation.

my problem is driving, i am very short 5 foot tall and my belly sticks out so far its pressing against the steering wheel and i cant scoot my seat back because i wont be able to reach the petals, i feel like i need a chauffer. lol
oh and the shaving is a drag, i am tempted just to cut it all off, but i think it looks funny, so i just call my husband in there, and say "hows she look" he laughs so hard at me, but thats why i love him.

Name: *** | Date: Jan 27th, 2006 4:35 PM
I hear you ladies! That is the hardest. My hubby wont do it. He is to scared. And I am uncomfortable. Im sure it looks a mess!! LOL !! Now in two weeks I have to go to the doctors and he is going to check my cervix. How embarrasing!! hehe!!! I wonder if it would be better to go in natural or blotchy!!! heheh!!

HAHAHAHA, how funny, what a great topic Ang, wtg,
boy i needed to laugh today,
i cant just think of which one is the haredst, they all come close, but the rolling out of bed makes me laugh, so true

the painting nails another hard one aswell, and shaving bikini line , faout how hard it is, i got hubby to do it, at first i didnt want to ask then i did, he was like, nooo im scared ill cut you, but he didnt cut me, phew!
washing dishes, we should invent sinks and cabinets that go into shape of a U, for pregnate women to fit snuggly into them,
anyway its all fun memories just like what were all sharing now, and we all know once we see our precious angels, they were worth every bit of it!
:-), btw anyone here due in september and have more than one kid? this is baby no 4 for me,

Irene is is really worth it? I am 34 weeks and getting pretty anxious about the whole thing. I went to hospital today to have a look around the delivery suite and the maternity ward. While I was there two girls came in while in labour and it has scared me half to death. I really need some reassurance as I will be going in any time and dont know if I want to!?!

Hi Anne-Marie,
how are you?....... YES, its worth every bit of pain hun, i remember with my 1st, i was sooooo scared, and i didnt even ask for drugs, by the time my waters broke, i didnt even get contractions till 8hrs later but i was in hospital anyway, then by 12.30pm i started getting them, 5 then 10 min apart, then at 4.17pm to be exact i had him, after 1& a half pushes, it was 3 + hours, its hard work, you will be soooo exhausted, it does hurt, BUT when you see that precsious baby on your chest, im not lieing, you forget every bit of pain, the pain dissapears completely!!!
just remember to breath, and sing in your head, and concentate on one thing, i kept concentating and looking at my husband over and over he ket telling me, that i was doing so well, and that were nearly there, that helped heaps, only have support partners in there that you know will really support you!

in the end i had pethadine, but i already had him, and 10 minutes after i had him i was lala land and asked my Midwife why i felt like that and she said it was the pethadine and i wished i asked for it earlier lol,

i heard epidural is good, you wont feel much pain with it, and dont feel bad if you have some, atleast your comfortable and you dont stress out as much, if your stressed, then baby is stressed,

just please learn to relax,
remember theres always God, ask him to be with you through labour, and to give you strength etc,
my friend asked him during labour and she felt her body relax completely like a warm blanket all over and labour was just so much easier after that,
i wished i knew that while i was in labour aswell, but now that i do ill be using all these methods,

if you want to chat some more, id love to hear from you,
[email protected]
you will be ok hun,
take care & God bless xx

How about picking up toys scattered throughout the room?

Name: Angela | Date: Feb 1st, 2006 5:53 PM
I hate picking up toys!! Its so hard cuz when you bend down you cant breath!! So it makes you really tired n light headed. Not to mention it s not so easy to bend over and then get back up!. I did the dishes yesterday and now my back is going to hurt for three days!! Its terrible!! I also have trouble sitting at the table. Exspecially at resturants. Cause you cant scoot in all the way cuz ur belly is in the way. So my hubby always wonders why I akways have food on all my shirts. Wel lits cause the food has to travel farther to my mouth! LOL

Yeah I'm not that far along yet I'm only 4 1/2 months along but my breast are freakin huge and I have to be really careful when I eat or they catch everything like a bib. And even though my belly is starting to show I can't see it unless I look in a mirror. so far the only difficult thing for me is that I live upstairs and sometimes when I have to make multiple trips I'm so out of breath and my hearts pounding.

haha! I love that idea! Cabinet/sink units that are in the shape of a U! Brilliant! I'm tall myself and find it very uncomfortable to lean over the sink when I'm not pregnant...nevermind when I have a bulge!

Anyone up for marketing this idea with me? j/k

i am due in 17 days, i think getting up off the couch or bed is horrible. Shaving, putting socks and shoes are some challenges..oh yeah what about picking up stuff you drop? Also once you get on the floor, getting up is another problem.
