hey babey_g, dont ever be embarrassed for asking a question in here! anyways, i have about 2 or 3 hemorroids and they hurt sooooo bad! i only had one at first but i refused to use any creams or anything because i thought 'its just one, it'll go away on its own'. nope, my situation just got worse lol. i use preperation H cooling gel as opposed to the creams because the creams make me feel like i didn't wipe good enough down there. also, preperation H makes these wipes that feel oh so good. they have witch hazel in them which helps to relieve the pain and tighten the tissue back up. hope this helps!

don't be embaressed to ask your doctor either. it is just one of the many things you have to deal with when being preg. don't let it go untreated, it will just cause you more pain.

I got one with my son and I didn't know what it was either. I was in the tub washing and felt something I thought that my insides were falling out or something so I went to the ER. Needless to say the laughed at me. It didn't get real big or hurt though until I gave birth. I guess all of the pressure form pushing really blew it up. I used tucks pads and they helped with the pain alot. Don't feel akward about asking your doctor about anything trust me he has seen and heard it all :)
