Well, it's scheduled now OFFICIALLY for NEXT Friday (the 21st) at noon. I'm SOOO Excited, now he can tell me a little better idea of how far I am. The family doctor was a HUGE gap lol like amonth worth of time, but according to my last period, I should be due October 16th.
I did get bad news today thought :( Our insurance only covers ONE lonely ultrasound. He wants to do one this week to check on the baby, and then I want the one at 20 weeks, of course. Do any of you girls here in the states know how much an ultrasound costs if insurance doesn't cover it?

a couple hundred dollars. i had to get 2 as well. and my insurance only covered one.......unless it was considered a medical necessity-which it was, so i didn't have to pay for it. i had one at my 20 week one and then another when i was almost due b/c they wanted to make sure chloe wasn't getting too big b/c of my history of large babies. my son was 9 pounds so they wanted to make sure chloe didn't get too big as well.

but yeah, check with your insurance about it being eligible if it is a medical necessity. i know you're thinking "duh, it IS a medical necessity". but, still check if you can.

I live in Indiana as well... but I live up North.... and my insurance only covers one ultrasound... but I went to a hope center (which you might have around you) it's a clinic for pregnant women that need help.... I know it seems unfair to do even though you obviously want this baby.... but they gave me a free ultrasound at 8 weeks... and then the doctor's office gave me one at 19 weeks.... so that was it... but I have decided to go get a 4D ultrasound because I want to see him on last time before he comes and that's scheduled for the 22nd.. I'm so excited!..... but anyways... check into that...cause it gets expensive!.... btw... congrats!!!!
