Well I went to the doctor yesterday excieted for once in my life about getting an internal exam!!! Only because I have been getting some weird pains and I was really wanting to know how much progress my cervex was making.... well today I am 38 weeks,but yesterday I was only 37 weeks 6 days, for the sake of one day they wouldn't do an internal, can't believe it...grrr...LOL ↓

I had a doctor pressing really hard on my tummy yesterday, just above my belly button.

The internal exam is to check the cervix for effacement and dilation. Not all doctors do an exam before your due date, and some start performing them weekly at your 36 week appt. Every doc is different. ↑

yeah, I just had mine at 36 1/2 weeks.....I know what you mean about being excited for an internal! I'm 2 cm and am SO happy-even though it doesn't mean much, it means something to me! Good luck with your pregnancy. ↑

Jillw, my doc is gonna do it next tuesday.... I am dyeing to know if I have dialated any.... I wanted to choke her...LOL!! ↑

they should be doing one by now... my doctor started them week before last when i was 36 weeks... i'm 37 weeks and 2 days now and i'm already 1 full cm. dialated ↑
