Hi CC....Yes it is possible... I had a shorter period than normal (my last one)...and found out that I was preg. after I had the period...But that I got preg before that period....My mom and cousin had this happen too....my cousin had hers only it was irregular...twice!........

| i had bleeding with this baby. at 9 weeks prego i started spotting brown blood for about a week. then one day i went to the bathroom and bright red blood was running down my leg. i freaked cause i thought for sure i was miscarrying. i went in that day for an ultrasound and they found a small separation between the placenta and my uterus. i spotted for about another 5 days and went in for another ultrasound and it had healed itself and the baby was fine. i am now 30 weeks prego. ↑ |

| HI hon, yes you can bleed and still be preggos. I bleed for three weeks at three months with my 2nd son and got worried. I went to the local ER when I first stated and there he was in the ultra sound moniter just a kickin. I hope this assures you. God Bless. ↑ |

| You can have bleeding and be pregnant and for lots of reasons. First of all it could be implantation bleeding from when the gestational sac implants into the endometrial lining. Or it could be from something like uterine fibroids or polyps. You can also get spotting after intercourse because pregnancy changes the cervix and It can bleed if irritated. None of these are anything to worry about though. ↑ |

| implantation bleeding varies for different people. if you want to know where exactly the blood comes from, its when the egg implants into your uterus and eats away at the lining and builds pools of blood within itself, thus implantation bleeding!! ↑ |

Fibroids, also known as fibromyomas, leiomyomas or myomas, are non cancerous tumors that are outgrowths of the muscular wall of the uterus. Many times these tumors produce no symptoms and are discovered when the patient undergoes a hysterosalpingogram or sonohysterogram. Fibroids can become large enough to obstruct the uterus thus interfering with embryo implantation and the ability to carry a child to term.
Polyps are caused by an overgrowth of the tissue lining the uterus (endometrium). Many times polyps are small and do not interfere with embryo development. When they enlarge they can restrict the uterine cavity impairing implantation and development. ↑ |

the last time i had a NORMAL period, it was Sept 2nd. in october, i missed, and then a few weeks ago, i had light bleeding, then heavy, then light again. so i decided to go to the doctor and get a blood test done because i took a pregnancy test and it said negative. im like o...k...and then i took another and it was a really faint positive line that you could only see if you held it up to the window.
so they called me back on wednesday *2 weeks ago* and told me that it was negative. so that REALLY frustrated me.
then i got a call back last night and they told me they had a "mixup" and that it was positive! ↑ |

| I feel sick all of the time. I am 21yo and 5 days late for my period. But I have been bleeding brown blood, very lightly, not even enough for a pad. I took One pregnancy midstream test today and followed the instructions carefully. It came out negative. They said it is 99% accurate. Is it possible that spotting can cause a negative result? ↑ |

| well yes it could just mean you have a low hcg level or you might not be pregnant and because you are worrying aboout it it will delay your period..if you really think you are wait another week or if you really carnt wai tget a blood test done or an ultra sound! good luck and let me no how you go on x ↑ |

seems to be the question on everyone's mind - what is too much bleeding to not have a chance of still being preg.? guess it varies for everyone, huh? i haven't had any symptoms prior to this month (trying about 3 mo now), and honestly wasn't worrying about being preg. until I started to have some very clear signs last week. AF was due yesterday/today -- light spotting (pink/brown) yesterday and then bright red today (crying in the broom at work, anyone been there?). Not enough for a heavy pad but more than a liner. hopefully mine tapers off tomorrow or the next day like jess! I'm not giving up hope, only TIME will tell -- tick, tock... | i normally have very regular period. My last period started on 29 Nov. i had intercourse on the 10th and 11th Dec. and I had bleeding on 18th Dec. It looked like a period, heavy, dark colour, lasted about 2 days but shorter than my normal period. it possible i had implantation bleeding or miscarriage. My husband and I are trying for a baby. ↑ |

hi CC,
it is totally possible, as long as it doesnt bleed AND get bad cramps.
my first/last pregnancy was great for the first 6 weeks, then i started bleeding one day, brown the next, gone the next, red blood the next and so on...went to a gyno, she said i should go get a sonogram, i saw a damn heartbeat, but then started cramping 3 days later (incl some bleeding...red and brown) and then cramping got worse the next day, to a point where it brings tears of pain, and then massive bleeding (miscarriage).
so as long as you dont get horrible cramps, take it easy, lay down, feet up (is what the ER told me) it didnt work for me, but who knows, ive heard lots of stories of other lucky women who bled throughout their whole pregnancy.
i didnt want to bust a bubble, but other things CAN also happen, and i wanted to let u know, just so you can also be prepared for that, cuz i wasnt, and it sucked.

| i ad my last period on the 2nd ov sept an the last time i ad sex was on the 9th sept, then i didnt av a period til end ov october an iv ad 1 in nov but there not lik normal periods im not usin an contreception is there any chane i could be pregnant iv done test an they are neg but im still not 100% sure im not preg ????? ↑ |
