My son was born oct 17 2003 at 29 weeks he will be four this year, the thing is he is still small people seem to think he is younger than a two year old, his doctor has never mentioned anything about his size, should I take him to see another doctor ↓

aww he sounds cute, im sure if the doctor thought something was wrong.. he would of said something to you.
ive heard alot of prem children lagg behind other children when it comes to growing.. but they eventually get there.
sorry if im not much help.. i havnt had my baby yet! and she isnt prem so far lol.. ↑ |

| I bet he is just fine.. if it makes you feel any better my 2 yr old is the same size as some 4 and 5 year olds.. lol.. he is pretty tall for his age.. so I get the... "Wow, he is big for 2" all the time.. which aggravates me sometimes! :-) ↑ |

| Kids are all different sizes, so if the doctor hasn't said anything then I'm sure he is just perfect. :-) Like Karens son, my son is very tall for his age. He turned 3 at the end of Feb. and he is 42 inches tall, people never believe me when I tell them he's 3. On the other hand, my niece who turned 3 a few weeks ago is only 34 inches tall. ↑ |

| you can search for child growth percentile calculators and enter his stats to see where he falls in the range, but I would worry too much. It looks to me like his weight is perfect and his height will also have a lot to do with how tall you and his dad are. ↑ |

try not to worry!!
My brother and i were both prem. I was 6 weeks and my brother was 12 weeks!! My brother is now 24 and he is 6 foot 2!!!!! he was small until he hit his teens and then he grew heaps. As for me...i take after mum and am smallish just 5 foot. My brother and i did see a pead about being prem until we were 10...maybe its something you could ask you GP to refer you too. ↑ |
