did anyone ever take medications while they were pregnant? the doctor gave me tylenol and penicillin for my toothache i know a doctor wouldn't try to harm someone but i'm still curious plus it wasn't my regular DR it was the emergency dentist ↓

i got ALOT of headaches in my 1st trimester, almost everyday.. my doctor said it was fine for me to take tylenol. but there were other things i were NOT allowed to take. ↑

Tylenol is fine to take when you are pregnant so I wouldn't worry about it. As far as the Penicillin goes I'm not sure because I never took anything like that while pregnant. ↑

tylenol is safe during entire pregnancy. Ibuprofin is only safe during certain trimesters...the first I think. I don't know about pennicillan. I'm allergic, but I have been on another antibiotic. I'm sure that if a doc prescribed it it should be safe. I would just check out safefetus.com to be sure, and make sure you tell your ob. ↑

automans, my husband is allergic to penicillan also. i had to get the big shot in the ASS when i went into the army. haha i hated it. so consider yourself lucky. oh THEN i got sick. lol bronchitis. ↑

My ob gave me a list of meds that were safe to take during pregnancy, like tylenol for headaches, tums for heartburn and penicillin is on the list so as far as I know you will be fine. ↑

The docs kept giving me meds while pregnant.tons of antibiotics for repeated infections,steroids,darvocet for headaches,andtinausea meds,etc.I think youll be ok. ↑

I was percribed penicillian twice while pregnant on Christian. I am now on a long term medication and pregnant and went to see 3 doctors about either weining off or giving up the medication... The 1st and 2nd doctor told me not to stop takeing it because it would make me sick as a dog if I did and the third doctor said for me to get off the med because there has been links to it potentially harming the baby!! How frusterating! I don't know who to listen to! ↑
