May 9th....but I'm just curious as to what exactly goes on..?? I know pap smears, and blood tests will be done, but is there anything else? what about finding out your due date, do they find that out? okay yeah, I'm excited..hehe ↓

| They will give you an estimated due date based on the first day of your last period, pap smear and blood tests, urine collection, they may get a health history, weight and height. Nothing too exciting until around 10 - 12 weeks when you can hear the heart beat. Some doctors will do an ultrasound at the first appt. to date the pregnancy. ↑ |

i never got a pap smear at my first pre natal.. im 31 weeks and i still havnt had a pap smear.. they dont do them here when you are pregnant.
all i had to do was urine sample.. blood pressure.. blood tests.. then went home :) ↑ |

| My doc did an u/s for me at 5 1/2 weeks and again at 7 1/2 weeks. They did two because we all thought I was two weeks farther along than I am. It was good, though cause we now know the exact due date. Not all docs do u/s that early, though. Yeah, other than blood, urine, height, weight, and a quick talk and oportunity for asking questions there isn't much else. Quite routine actually! ↑ |

New Zealand =) australia doesnt do pap smears either...seems only uk and america do that =\
