i am 37 weeks pregnant and am very miserable i'm looking for someone to give me some ideas on what i can do to put myself in labor. I have three sons and all of them came early i have never had this problem before is there any way to make her come out. I have tried walking, having sex, squatting, u name it all but castor oil and i have heard that that is not good. I am due aug 7th but i can't wait that long she is getting the best of me someone please help. ↓

Can't speak for anyone else, but castor oil worked for me and had no ill effect on my baby. However, bear in mind that it only works if the baby is ready to come and dilation and effacement has already begun. It will not force labor, it will just hasten it if conditions are set for it to begin. ↑

I was 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and asked my doctor what I could do to start labor and she stripped my membrannes for me, it was kinda just like a pelvic exam but hurt, but did that gets things moving she did it at 4:30pm on monday and my daughter was born 6 hours later at 10:27pm. I regret having her do it though my daughter was smaller than if I would have let her go to full term and had eating preoblems and didn't gain weight early on so looking back on it, even tho I was misreble and just wanted her out I should have given her the extra weeks ↑
