is it possible to have ur water break b4 u loose ur mucus plug??? i keep feelin like theres a low drizzle coming out... but im not sure.. n i havent lost my mucus plug ↓

| umm good question not sure exactly, but i think its possible, my mom had 3 kids and her water didn't break for any of us, and had to be broken at the hospital, and she never saw her mucus plug either ↑ |

| i think that not everyone notices that they have lost their mucus plug. it doesnt always come out in chunks. so yes it is possible for you water to break, because you may not know you lost your mucus plug. call you doctor asap ↑ |

| you could've lost your plug and not even realized it over time, it doesn't have to come out as one lg peice. Does your trickle seem to come more if you laugh or cough ect./ ↑ |

| Samantha, I read your other post about you and your guy having sex then hearing a pop. If you feel like you are leaking, even just a little, you need to call your doctor. They will probably have you come in cause it sounds like you have a slow leak! Don't feel stupid or that you are bothering your doctor. Just call them! Let us know what they say! ↑ |

| also your water can break and then quit dripping if the baby drops and plugs the hole, that happened w/ my second, it was just a very very small amount and then nothing at all ↑ |

| i only noticed a small part of my plug and even then i was barely dialating. i coughed and it felt like i pissed myself and then it just kept leaking a little and a little more, by time i got to the hospital it looked like i was pissing down my leg in the gown. i would go to labor and delivery they'll test for amniotic fluid. calling your doctor is a good thing but when i called mine they said you always go straight to the hospital if you think your water has broken ↑ |

| thanks im gonna wait liek another 20 minutes.. just to be sure n i dont wanan freak my fiance out or anything so i havent told him yet.... But while those minutes r passing by im gonna pack my bag.... just incase n if it doesnt seem to stop ill call its just enough feel of a drizzle almost nothing but still can feel something is that weird? im like this if i dont know if sumthing is wrong ill assume nothing is wrong with me im jsut being paranoid.... ↑ |

| I had a small leak with my daughter--and it happened during intercourse--but at my due date--. The onlyway I new my water had broken (and this wasn't til like noon the next day) was I was crouched on the floor on my knees and elbow (I forget why??! sorting baby clothes or something) so the baby shifted up in my torso so her head wasn't plugging the break then when I would straigten back up fluid would come out but only until her noggen blocked it again!! So its quite possible! ↑ |

| Update.. so i didnt call or anything first i laid down for a while to see if nething more happened n even sneezed a couple times n nothing.... I would have to say im a lil disappointed but im a lil crampy tonight not like gasy crampy either so maybe sumthing is at least happening.... Who knows maybe i do have a slow leak goin on n just dont realize it it is a full moon tonight haha.. yea old wives tales.... i jsut dont wanna get my hopes up n get disappointed ↑ |
