HI girls,
I know its been a long time..... I am in the hospital in Denver Colorado with pre-term labor.I have been here for almost 2 weeks.I was flown Flight for life on June 13 by helicopter.The contractions were 60 seconds apart and my cervix was completely gone down to the stictch so they put me on tons of meds and hospital bedrest.I am lonley and getting depressed but so happy that my little girl is still where she belongs!
We are almost 26 weeks now and hoping and praying to make it to 28.Please pray for us.I have been really stressed lately because when they did the U/S here 2 weeks ago they dx her as having hydrocephelus-fluid on the brain and have now said she may be missing a part of her brain....This is hard for me but I am trusting God to not give me more than I can handle.
I have missed you all so much but am soooo thankful to have internet here now so I can talk to you all.I have missed you all so much! What have I missed the past 6 weeks??? ↓

Hey thanks you all!We get another U/S tomorrow or Thursday.They cant say for positive until then.At this point we dont know exactly what we will be facing.The hydrocephelus would kinda be the least of our problems if she is missing a piece of her brain.For hydrocephelus they will put a shunt in her brain to drain the fluid to her stomach after she is born.
I am feeling better physically,still having contractions,this afternoon they were about 10 min apart.I am on 2 different meds to try to stop them,sometimes it works better than others. I get really lonely here but we can go to pool therapy twice a day for 1hour when we are stable and they have massage therapists that come in once a week so I guess I cant complain about our care.They have the best NICU around,they're even flying people in from Kansas! ↑ |

john and i are getting along fine. he calls to check on brooke daily, and i honestly miss him but yet dont want to be with him. one day he might become a better man, but he still has a lot of growing up to do. he treats me way better now. he doesnt know it but i did not put him on the birth certificate. i thought about it long and hard and decided to not put him on there. he knows she has my last name as we made that decision together. we thought it was best. but anyways in short things are sooo much better now! ↑ |

| Good!Im glad for you.My babys daddy is a pain i the ass.Sometimes I dont hear from him for weeks the he calls every couple days.When he found out I was in the hospital last week (someone else told him) he called and screamed at me for 45 minutes....Then 2 days later he called wanting me to come back.I said no way.He is not really interested in Daisy now that she may have special needs..Thank God!I am not putting him down anywhere as her daddy.You can always put John on later if you want.It is easy to put them on later but hard to take them off. ↑ |
