Should people with severe anorexia be forced into receiving treatment in hospital?

it depends on how you are... if u are under 18 yes you can be forced if you are above 18 they can t do anything to you cause you are offically an adult... hope that helps sweety....

The criteria is whether you are a danger to yourself or others. A doctor and/or two family members must sign the paper and present it to a judge. I guess whether you are a danger to yourself would be how underweight you are (deathly or just slightly) and if it's affecting your thinking and behavior in a way that's dangerous or irrational. ↑

If that's the case then yes, I'd rather my loved one be pissed at me for locking her up than be dead. ↑
