From what I've read, aspirin is sometimes given to women who have experienced repeated miscarriages. It thins the blood so that it can flow through the placenta easier and sustain the pregnancy. There is a condition where a womans blood becomes too thick to flow through the placenta properly and the pregancy fails. ↑ |
