hey lizzi. honestly, it's hard to say. insurance varies city to city. have you tried calling your agent to get a ballpark estimate? ↑ |
No I haven't yet,I just thought someone on here may have an idea. God,I hope I can afford it?! My parents never put me on their insurance because they never taught me to drive!!!! I learned through drivers ed and my aunt and grandma which I don't think either of them put me on their insurance at the time so technically I was driving their vehicles illegally! But I want to be sure my son is covered to drive my car in case something happens so I can at least replace my car without worry if there's an accident. I just hope I can afford it because we are low income. It takes everything we got just about to make ends meet as it is! But it's something I have to do,I don't want to not put him on and then him have an accident and the insurance say he wasn't covered to be driving my car so they won't pay! That would be a nightmare! I don't have extra money laying around to buy a different car. I practiced with my aunt and grandma and drivers ed at school and then I babysat and bought a cheap first car and got my own insurance myself which at that time ran $40 for just liability only. Plus I hear they charge boys more than girls ,I don't know how true that is but my son does get good grades so hopefully that will help. ↑ |
I have no idea out there.....as for here in B.C Canada you really do not want to know how much it costs to have new driver on your insurance....... ↑ |
ours is $200.00 a MONTH!!!!! ↑ |
with out a new driver our is about 140.. a month ↑ |
I pay $20 a month but it's for liability only. But keep in mind my car is almost 15 years old too! I guess I'll just have to call my agent and have him give me some numbers. I just hope I don't faint! Lol ↑ |
did you find out Lizzie? ↑ |
