I have a big chow, who is going through her third heat. She is bleeding all over the house. Does anyone have ways of dealing with this. ↓

Hee Hee! This is NO fun, I know! I put Diapers (Huggies work the best) on my dogs! I cut a small hole for their tail and secure it tightly. I take it off for them to go potty, then put them back on! Works wonderfully!
My dogs have worn diapers through their 'in heat' days since they were little so are very used to the routine! ↑ |

| LOL! SPAY HER! you evil woman. Or you can simply go to the pet store and purchase her some... doggy feminum pads. Dont lauph, they really have them and you'll have to get the belt to hold them on too....you know like grandmas. ↑ |

Well we have papers on her, and plan to breed her, But I am not ready forr my baby to grow up. Thanks for all this info. I didnt know they had those, thank you, Lindalu.

| Yes! Wait until the heat is over, in the meantime, look in your area for discount spay clinics. Get her spayed. She will never bleed again, and she will be much less likely to die from cancer, birthing puppies, and she won't attract stray dogs. While you are waiting to spay her, there are dog diapers you can get from the petstore, and you can also keep the dog in a kennel when you aren't home. ↑ |
