Name: Hiddy [ Original Post ] This morning I got up and there was this HUGE Praying Mantis climbing up our outside wall. It made me wonder, who on earth would want to keep one of these things as a pet. They are soooo ugly. Their eyes follow you when you move, like some sort of creepy painting. I can handle spiders and snakes, but I hate these things. I put it down to when I was a child and some moron brought a Praying Mantis nest to school for show and tell and I was holding it when they hatched all over me and bit me. For Christs sake, they eat each other! ↓

W e had one in fith grade named Lucky. I was on the news with her. Because her egg sack hatched it was neat! ↑
