My heart is set on getting a Siberian Husky puppy... I am a first time dog owner, and I'm a teenager (my dad and I wanted to get one) I've been trying to do some research on them, and I understand that they need lots and lots of exercise and can be stubborn/they're hard to train.

I'm asking you, if you've had a Siberian Husky, is it really that hard to take care of them? I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he/she is a healthy dog!!
Also, again.. this would be my first time as a dog owner, I've heard from pretty much everyone that I should NOT get a Siberian Husky as a first time dog, is it really impossible for a first time dog owner?

A siberian husky is NOT a good dog for a first time dog owner. Huskies are very strong-willed and need a lot of training. They also need a great amount of exercise or else they become destructive.

I would not get a Siberian as a first dog. They are not hard to take care of but the demand a lot of attention. They tend to be very active and require lots of excerise. They do not make good city dogs. And because of there pedatory nature they can be harmfull to small animals in the neighbor hood. They tend to attack cats and other small pray. If you have your heart set on one PLEASE PLEASE get alot of obadience training on it. A well trained dog is a happy dog. Best of luck
