I'm in desperate need to find someone to take a 6 year old pit. Has not lived a great life, not beaten just tied in a yard with no attention besides neighborhood kids messin with him.He has been taken care of by do gooders (walks,food,water) His owners are just asses and don't care what happens to him. He is so sweet but nipped at akid once, they say probably cuz kids bugged him alot. Never shows signs of aggression with adults. Do you people think he is adoptable? All the shelters and such say they will terminate him. I would love to take him myself , but will not risk an older dog around my 8 yearold son and my 1 year old pit.Can anyone help me or tell me I'm crazy for trying to save this sweet old guy? ↓

Try looking online for a pit bull rescue. I often go to this site www.pitbullforum.com they are really helpful and everyone there knows a lot about these dogs. It sounds like the situation for this dog is pretty serious. I wouldn't wait if I were you. Sometimes you have to go over someone's (like the owners) heads to get something done. Good luck. ↑
