I am reading you're posts on the difficulties of the surrogate mother becoming attached to the unborn child. This is sometimes the case other times the surrogate mother views herself as a incubatore only, and isn't attached to the unborn child (as herown)
Also when I was pregnent I had no emotional attachment to my unborn child, until the child was born.
Unless you have had a baby before, I don't recommand anyone to become a surrogat mother. Because only the woman who have had kids truely understand if they can emotionaly handle it. ↑ |

| HI. I'm 24 and don't think I will be able to have children. My best friend has told me she would be my seragent mother when I am done with school. I understand your friends situation. I used to not be too bothered by my infertility but now that I really want kids it kills me that I can't have my own. By being a seragent mother you would give your friend the best gift in the world! I'm sure it would be hard but knowing that your friend is going to care for the child and that you will always be a part of its life might make it easier. ↑ |

| I think it would be hard, but I am considering the same thing! My cousin has been trying to have a baby for 2 years and has had to have the infetro. After a few tries she is finally pregnant but at her last doctors appointment, the babies heart rate was very low, they don't think she will be able to carry the baby to term. I am thinking of helping her but am worried about the emotional part. I think it is harder for us because we know we know the mother and will have to see the baby. This could be a good or bad situation: good because we do know the mother, but bad because seeing that baby will be hard. ↑ |

| I too am in the same boat. My best childhood friend is going through fertility treatments at the moment and is loosing hope. I have 2 children of my own. The idea of being a surrogate mother literally just came to me about 10 mins ago.
