My name is Ken. December 2003 while living in
Denver I was in school for social work and ended up
on the street. The day my homeless experience began
I stood 2 yards from the scene of a homeless man and his girlfriend . She woke up, he was a victim of hypothermia. I was able to get into a shelter that night.
I had my pity parties and on christmas day. as I sat in
the park with the others without hope. A young couple
came through with clean socks and cookies she baked. Their gesture spoke volumes. I have recovered
well by the grace of God. I now would like to return that
expression of caring to anyone in need. Tell me your
hurts, how lonely you feel. how unfair your parents
were,how angry you are with life. I will listen. Everyone needs someone to care . ↓
