Im a 28 year old single dad of two. I have a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. My son is not doing good in school. His teacher told me if he dosent improve he will be held back. I try to help him with his homework but get too fustrated. He struggles with the basics.......I end up getting mad and giving up. Not sure what to do.

Alot of parents think the child is being lazy or that they need an academic tutor. Have you thought about cognitive training? You should look into LearningRx, they did great things for my son! He struggled from about 3rd grade on. I did everything I could to help him. It was all very frustrating and overwhelming. He is now in 10th grade and I finally found the help he needed all along. If you ask them, they will give you a FREE assessment. It is worth a try. Good luck
