iam 26 and 14 weeks pregnant my boyfriend left right when i found out, he cheated on me we split then got back together i did it for the baby but didnt work i havent spoke to him in 2 months. Iam very worried about alot of things, i have the support of my family and friends, but i still feel like a complete failure. I plan on fighting for full custody i dont see that being a problem considering he abandoned us already! i need to know about other mothers doing this alone and successfully to ease my mind. thanks

hi iam april. i am in the same situation right now. I am almost 19 with a seven month old baby girl. Her dad cheated on me when i was about 1 month 1/2 i would have never expected that from him. He later was put in jail. It's been almost a year since he was put in jail, and he is thinking of getting back together, now that he is comming out in Nov. I did forgive him about the cheating cause I really love him. But now I know that i dont need him or anybody to support me and my baby. Right now i've been by myself am a full time student, and working. I think youll be okay, it just has to be in you to want for things to work out. I wish u luck and you dont need him, If I can do it U can to. Good Luck :)

Hiya Carrie, well im 21 and 30 weeks pregnant. I went over to america to have a relationship with a guy, and he broke it off pretty much when he found out i was pregnant and decided the fact i lived in australia was too much for him and he just gave up on my and his child.
So pretty much from day one of my pregnancy ive done this by myself, and i know exactly what you mean by feeling like a failure. All i wanted was my child to have its father no matter how much of a loser he was. Its been really hard so far, especially feeling so emotional while im preggers. But its good to hear that you have family and friends support.
I havent really done anything alone successfully..its been really hard going to the doctors and the birthing classes by myself...but as the weeks go on and you see your child on a ultrasound and you feel him/her moving inside you..it does put you at ease somewhat. Just keep your head high and i'm more then happy to offer you more help and advice if you need it.

thanks lady's I need to hear about things and vent every now and then. My pregnancy has been to easy other than the begining, I've had no symptoms other than my breast and my tummy are bigger and going to the bathroom every ten minutes!!
