Im Rachel from Northern Virginia. I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter with CP. She is non verbal, not able to walk(although she does walk in a gait trainer). SHe recently recevied a gtube which has helped her gain alot of weight. Each and everyday is a struggle for both of us. I think the hardest part for me is not knowing what she is thinking or wanting to tell me. I am looking for moms who can relate to what im going thru and maybe even becomes friends in this manner. ↓

Hon this is the place for moms with who have childern with Cp. If you look at some of the other posts there are a lot of moms with children who have Cerebral Palsy. Its kinda slow here but if your patient they will eventually will pop in. Good luck on your quest! ↑

Hello Rachel,

My name is Donna and I am 27 and have a 4 year old son with CP. He also does not talk or walk and has had a g tube for most of his life. My son's name is Anthony and although he has many challenges in life he is the most pleasant child I have ever known. he loves music, any and every crazy sound u can make and he loves to kick his feet. I have learned to take things day by day because other wise I might go out of my mind. It is quite and emotional rollercoaster that you are on when you have a child with special needs. I am also looking for a friend whom is living my reality each day as well. Hope to hear from you. ↑
