I have a 20month son who suffers from seizures, low muscle tone - polymicrogyria. He wakes up about six times a night, every single night. I have tried to let him cry it out but he will cry for three or four hours before he falls asleep. He will sleep for one hour maximum before he wakes up again crying. I don't want to keep letting him cry it out because he sometimes has seizures at night. What should I do? I need to sleep more than 2 hours in a night - please help me!

Hey! I have a 3 year old, she also has seizures and for the first 2 and half years of her life i had the same problmes. Some nights she would stay up til 5, 6 in the morning, sometimes crying sometimes playing. Me being how i am stayed up with her and after awhile i thought i was going to go crazy from exhaustion, until my pharmacist told me about melatonin. This is not a medicine so it is over the counter with no side affects but make sure u look it up and ask ur doctor or pharmacist. It worked wonders for my daughter. Good luck!!
