Did any of you find that it was more difficult to conceive baby #2 than it was to conceive the first?

I didn't even think about it until my mum said it was harder for her to get preggers with me than it was with my sister.

Our first was a surprise so I don't know if that makes any difference or not.

I was feeling pretty confident about getting pregnant this month until my mum planted the seed of doubt in my head, now I am unsure and am feeling a little bit of stress about it.

I'm trying not to worry about it because really, it'll happen if and when it's supposed to happen....I just really like being able to plan things. lol!

lol....well...I had Anika first....and then got pregnant with Lex, four months later. AND i was breastfeeding Anika at the time...i know that's not a good form of birth control but i was told you normally don't ovulate while brestfeeding....i didn't get any periods when i was breastfeeding...so anyways....it took us 3.5 years to conceive Anika...so we didn't know how long it would take to get pregnant again, so i didn't go on the pill and we didn't use condoms...and yep...4 months after having Anika...i was pregnant again....joy. lol....no it's all good. it's fun....sometimes...ha ha

i don't think the second time around is harder OR easier..just when it happens, it happens!! :-)

Some people do say that. I don't know yet as I just have the one. But what I do know is if you're stressed out, you're less like to get pregnant than if you relax and de-stress. :)
