yeah i can't find ANYTHING on it.
i was making these fruit tarts out of a doukhobour cookbook, and it said for the fruit filling:
fresh fruit mixed with sugar and baker's cornstarch and let it sit for a bit OR if using FROZEN fruit to put fruit in pot with a little water, sugar, and diluted cornstarch (BUT DO NOT USE BAKER'S CORNSTARCH)
so i got confused....lol....so i just used frozen fruit so i could use my reg cornstarch...lol...

Never heard of "baker's cornstarch"!?!? I reckon it is for "baking" not for putting on your baby's bum.. LOLOL... What brand is it and what are you making????? ↑ |

I think baker starch is potato starch not potato flower. I could be wrong, but I do think I remember once hearing that bakers prefer using potato starch because it has no allergenic properties and it thickens much better under high heat then corn or rice starch. ↑ |
