I have had the flu thats why I havent been on lately...:( The day I came home from work with the flu..I went to bed to wake with the news that DH was fired from his job...Oh they say its because he wasnt doing his job...LIE!!!!! he has never been writen up or fired in his life and he is 54...We are seeing a lawyer Monday but Im scared...really scared...we have filed for unemployment..I dont know how we will pay our bills...Not to mention health care...Im so scared.. ↓

Oh Layne, That is horrible. You were writing before that the boss was a jerk after your husbands surgery. I hope that lawyer sues the pants off of them. I am so sorry. What a mess.
What are the job options around there? I can only hope he ends up with a better job than he started with. We are all here for you Layne. ↑ |

| layne i am sorry to hear that..My dad just lost his job after 18 years because the owner (his best friend) got greedy..He too has filed unemployment but that will give him nothing what he needs..his house payment is $6,000 month...I hope things will work out for you and wish you luck..you could try getting state health care now.. ↑ |

| Thankyou girls...I have my niece looking at the ppres they gave skeet...They offered us 4,000 dollars. But that wont last long. We are going to a attorny hopefully monday...But they said if we didnt agree we would lose the money they offered...Its all so fishy how hey are acting...I think they are hoping we will except the money and leave...We have no savings to speak of...and the health care will end in september...well with skeets knee and Michaels meds I dont know what we will do. I mess is right rain...We will lose our home...He didnt deserve this...A lawyer will take time and untill then what do we do...Then we are scared we will not find the right attorny its all so mind boggling...he is so down and Im sick to my stomach...What the hell else can happen this year??? ↑ |

Sorry to hear that, but since they already offered you 4,000 it makes me think you do have a case and they will be in big trouble. Even if they raise the offer I would try to hold out. I'm thinking you will come out of this better than you think! Good Luck and think positive. Plus go to your local assistence office and your sons meds and insurance will still be covered through the state, unless you make too much on your income alone, and don't be afraid to aply for food assistence and anything they offer you. Good Luck : )
I'm thinking his work knows they are in the wrong; hence, the offer. Normally for not doing your job and getting fired they wouldn't just offer you money. ↑ |
