I was just wondering if there are any experienced mothers out there who could give me some pointers...

i'm on fertility drugs so i will have my first prenatal exam way early, and have to pick an ob right away to get my first ultrasound. i've decided that the way i'm going to pick (i have a choice between 3 different hospitals and several ob's) is to take my birth plan along and whoever agrees with the most of my preferences is the one i'll use. that's going to be in the next week or two (hopefully) so i was thinking i could share what i have so far and you guys could tell me if there are any preferences i left off or other factors i should consider - i'm really hoping that by doing it this way i end up giving birth the way i feel most comfortable and not finding out at the last minute my doctor does things different than i want.

As good as it is to have a birth plan sometime things don't go they way that we had planned. So make sure that you are willing to be somewhat flexible just incase something should happen like having an emergency c-section so your not disappointed in the end.

when i made it i added preferences for all kinds of situations (i.e. "if a c-section is necessary..." or "if there is a choice between ____ and ____") thanks for the advice though, i know i might not get it all the way i want it - i'm just trying to get it as close as possible
