My husband took Tyler and Belle to his sisters to play yesterday and let mommy have a few hours of rest... welllll I needed all the rest I got because I just spent the ENTIRE night in the ER with Tyler, he broke his nose and bruised his eye socket. He was playing with his older cousin where he ran and jumped on him, well the cousin moved out of the way when Tyler jumped and he landed hard face first on a wooden rocking chair! He is soooo pititful! He is on pain meds and has to go see a ENT doctor to decide if he will need surgery. I am trying to stay up so I can call the ENT as soon as they open and I have to get his script filled. Keep us, mainly Tyler in your thoughts! ↓

OH MY GOD, Im so sorry 4 ur little guy,
ouch, i can imagine the pain he and You must be going through,
I'll be praying all is okay and that God gives the Docs knowledge & wisdom on his situation,,,

Poor baby,
its so hard when something, well anything like this happens, and being so young, how do you expalin it to them,
my son is 4 now and when he was 3 he was in the care of my Mother inlaw and when i got a phone call from her just 30 minutes after we spoke, i sensed something had happened, then i heard beeping sounds, i froze,
well they were calling me from ER, and what had happened, and untill this day i have no idea how, my 3 yr old opened up Caustic soda and ate the crystals,his whole mouth frothed up and my inlaws said he just wouldnt stop screaming,
i get nightmares still now about it, i can only imagine if i was there, it would of been worse,
i nearly died, it seemed hours before we drove to hospital, but we sped all the way, found him with tubes everywhere,
we are very lucky the Doctors said that his insides didnt get destroyed,
for ages he would dribble and could not eat,
they said he would dribble always, But Praise God he is ok,
being a parent sux sometimes, it has its rewards but also difficult moments like these,,
But all along i just kept praying, so just do the same and your little Prince will be okay,
he is in Good hands,
i have him on my prayer list tonight,,

thx 4 your kind words and thx for letting me know when you receive news on your Tyler,
ask every question to the ENT, In fact grab a sheet of paper and write down all the questions you want to ask him, cause once in there you will forget half of them,
im off to make kids and hubby's lunch for the morning, then fold clothes, make up babies bottles,lol, all the Fun things us Mothers do before we head off for bed,

my kids are always getting into scrapes of some sort....open had one visit to the hosp ...touch wood, touch wood...for a couple of stitches.

My sister broke my dads nose when she was 18 months old! She was sat up in bed, and sneezed, fell back and cracked my dads nose. Hope he gets better soon! ↑ |

Hey guys thanks for all the well wishes! I had to go to his pediatrician's office as soon as they opened and they set up an appt. for him to see the ENT Friday, in hopes the swelling will go down and they can better see the fracture. But he seems to be doing well, he just looks like he lost a boxing match! Me and him both took a long nap together this evening... lol we had a long night! He "may" have to have a splint put in his tear duct where his nose bone pressed into his eye... his nose doesnt look crooked was just the angle he hit. I guess we will know more on Friday!

Awww... poor little guy : ( I know is hurting from that.
My little one fell on her toy box lid and hit her nose. It swelled on the left side of her nose and up into her left eye area but it wasn't broke just bruised really bad. Hers bled.... ALOT. It was awful. She complained for about 3 days that she couldn't smell or taste & I worried forever about that but after a week or so it was all better.
I hope everything goes well & he doesn't need surgery. Prayers and well wishes coming his way : ) ↑ |
