O.k.,I went out to check my oil this morning and the stupid dip stick is screwy. I pulled it out,wiped it put it back and pulled it out to check it. Well the front side is smeary and reads clear up to full but the backside is more prominent and reads a quart low!? So do I add a quart of oil or not? ↓

Do several attempts, dip a few times, and take the most consistent showings as what the oil level is. ↑

Pour a little, maybe not the whole quarter, if you are in doubt, check again after driving. ↑
