My daughter will be attending her ball soon,
Her date had ask me to allow him to pick her up for the event..I told him no, as I don't trust him alone with my daughter, and I want her to have a chaperone
She is only 16..Do u think I am too protective of her
Tell u the truth I am scared of all the things I am hearing children r doing nowadays
She has been a good girl so far, and said she does'nt mind having a chaperone, as long as it's not one of her parents, as everyone would make fun of her if we were there.. ↓

Maybe say to her that you will take them and pick them up afterwards.

I don't have any kids yet, however i'm pregnant with my first baby (23wks). However in my opinion i know it's scary with all the things kids are doing nowadays. I do have to ask why don't you trust this boy? If she is agreeing to have a chaperone then so be it...but maybe get a good friend of the family (an aunt, etc) to take her and her date. You have to be able to trust her, untill something heven forbits happen that makes you give some harsh ground rules.
I don't think it's being too protective, she is your daughter after all i'd be the same way when mine is 16. ↑ |

He pledge his love to my daughter, and he is a bit older than her
But what bothers me is a note my daughter wrote to herself, must have been bored that day..saying ...he told me he had a hard on, while we were talking, said it is because since we have been talking for the 18 months, he has'nt had sex, with anyone..
So I don't trust him because he was or is sexually active..paranoid..guess I am..she will be 17 soon, but I am still
worried that she trust this boy too much..they goes to the same school...I even told her I prefer she did not go to the ball with him..She just tell me ..oh mummy he is nice, he said he will wait until I finish school, before we date..ofcourse I give in..my husband does not like himeither, he has no reason though, smile..as I could not tell him about the note ↑ |
