| Let your " yes" be yes and " no" be no...I agree with the firm voice thing too. If they ask you something and you say no and they keep doing it, and you stay no, and then you finally give in, then they know they only have to push a little more to get their way next time. I used to spank alot, but i lean more towards time out and talking to them. If they laugh while they are in timeout...keep them in longer and explain why they are in their longer. Take toys away and turn off tv. Make them put their head down or sit on the sofa untill you think they have learned their lesson. If they do it again, put them right back on the sofa. Consistancy ! Let them know who is boss. Even if it ruins your night. ↑ |
| so what happens when they won't stand in the corner...I put my daughter there one day and she refused! I litterally had to fight with her for 1 hour, putting her back in the corner every few seconds! I did it so much my legs were hurting from going back and forth! ↑ |
| I put my kid's in a corner. At first I had to stand there with them and hold them there, but they got sick of me holding them soon and started to just stand on their own. Good luck ↑ |
