oh, good, so mine isnt so weird after all! she's on a prescription for Zantac (i think thats the one for reflux) and it smells awful but the other day i drew it up in the syringe and put the cap on the bottle. well, she didnt want to wait any longer, so she grabbed the syringe, stuck it in her mouth and tried to suck it out herself!! lol

I don't know if I count as one of the "gals" Peach, but what type of things are you looking for color suggestions for? Carpet, siding, counters?

It depends what style your going for. What kind of feel do you want for your home?

Browns and tans create a warm feeling. Do you like the outdoors? If so beach or mountains,

Name: mspeachpit | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 4:14 PM
both, but im not crazy about brown.

we will have to try and put them in the house somewhere. You could do a yellow kitchen. Blue living room, black and red accents in your bedroom. You can do a pink bedroom for your little girl with white accents. The possiblities are endless.

well, actually, hubby and i have been discussing a blue bedroom and a red living room.

what about for a dining room?

Name: momof3 | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 4:59 PM
It would depend. My is painted a vert light brown tannish color with cream lace curtains and sheers, we recover the dining room chairs in a very pretty light green and cream fabric. Then the runner on the buffet is thr same material as the seats. I have a very light cream carpet in the living and dining room.

But we don't eat at that table unless we have company. We normally eat at the kitchen table.

my baby's been asleep for 4 hours. should i worry yet?

Sorry it took so long to reply again. Well, my house is in the Pacific Northwest - so I've kind of run with that. I couldn't choose my carpeting or wall color (both cream) but my couch and all the accents are in rich hunter green shades with some dark purples and reds mixed in here and there. I guess the basic feel is mountains, woods, black bears, moose... things like that. I don't really have any knick knacks or decorations up since we just moved in, but that's what I would buy. I don't know if that would work for you though, since I don't know where you live. I know that here it's really home-y and cozy.

basically where im going to be, i would fit in if i put an old torn up couch on the porch and a broken-down car with no tires up on blocks in the front yard. lol

Mspeachpit, you are too funny!

Name: mspeachpit | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 7:58 PM
thank you. it's true, though!

LOL... sounds like where I live. I just chose to use the moose pictures instead... but a Chevy on cinder blocks would have worked just as well. I'm about an hour outside of Seattle... but you'd think it was 10. Looks like the Beverly Hillbillys could live anywhere around here.

maybe add a deer head or two on the walls :|

Name: nicole jones1 | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 8:15 PM
Lol, yeah, right off the top of my head I could tell you 5 or 6 neighbors within a few miles of me that have deer antlers above their garage, house, or barn door.

oh, gross!!!!

Name: nicole jones1 | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 8:20 PM
Supposedly it's "good luck". It looks horrible though. We've got a lot of people around here that have tarps on their roofs and things like that as well. My actual street is nice because it's the street that the court house, city hall, police station, community center, and waterfront are on.... (yes, they're all on ONE street, lol.) Once you get "out of town"... or in other words... off this street... it's pretty rurual. I grew up out in the boonies about 20 minutes from where I live now - on a farm.

Name: mspeachpit | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 8:28 PM
i always thought it would have been nice to grow up on a farm.

Name: nicole jones1 | Date: Nov 10th, 2006 8:40 PM
It was nice, but it wasn't a horse farm or anything like that. Just pet animals (goats, chickens, etc.) and a small barn.
