Okay I was raised to that if someone needs your help you do so. Now when I do I catch so much flack for it.
My friend called me today and said she was taking her 2 year old to the E.R. because she had a fever of 103. Her husband works over 1 1/2 hours away. Her mother in law didn't want to go, so I met her up there. By time we got there her temp was 104. They were doing chest films, and cathing her to get a urine sample and if they didn't find anything then they were going to do a spinal on her. I had to leave because my husband had to go to fire acadmey. He was pissed because he didn't know what time I would be home so he didn't start dinner, he know what time he has to leave for school HELLO!, so he didn't eat before school. NOW my mom is siding with him!! The person who always told me to help when I can! I give up!!!

That was the right thing to do no matter what they say, and very nice of you. How did your friends daughter make out?

I don't think those trips ever end!!
My friend was still at the E.R. awhile ago when she called, at that point they didn't feel they were going to have to do a spinal tap. So that is good news.

Thanks!!!!
It just ticked me off last night. MY mom was telling me that sometimes I put my friends first. Well in a situation like that, sure. She didn't have anybody, and my husband if fully capable to start dinner on time so HE can eat before he goes to acadmey.
Good news is after all that, It was an ear infection.!!!! Brand new P.A. is who we had at the E.R.
