Lizzi---Ha, I'm cooking a roast, too. I found this recipe on the web for Portillo's Roast Beef. It smells soooooo good!! Whne it's done, I'm planning to shred the beef , then saute green peppers and onion, add some peppercini peppers with mozzorella on top. Yummy!
Today, is a slow day, too. My son had his counseling session this morning. I guess it went well. Although, he said he didn't like the guy he was talking too....claims he's weird. When he came back from visitation on Sunday, he was a bit fisty. All because I asked him to clean his room on Friday before he left. Well, he comes home and decides to make some mac n cheese because his dad didn't feed them supper, too busy socializing. Another parenting skill my ex lacks. Da, feed the kids.....they are always hungry! However, after he shot his mouth off, my hubby climbed in his behind, he calmed down, did what he was suppose to do, then I shared my steak and potatoes with him. We had enough to feed them all. ↑ |
