Now that i think about it all.....i'm really pissed that i had that c-section.
They didnt give me warning, didnt tell me about the risks...and basically didnt give me any option. I was that high on drugs....i dont even remember them telling me they where going to do it.
Its not fair and i feel like ive had my rights voilated. Now i have a scar, recovery is slow...i was that sick in hospital......and all my stomach is numb and will be for a long time.........i feel like SUEING someone!!! maybe thats a option!
I feel like they took advantage of my Gas'd up pethdine shot state...anyway thats my rant...sorry but yeh! its just really sunk in now how pissed i really am

| Im sorry you had to have a c- section but mabey they had to do it, mabey they thought it wasnt going to happen natural and so they had to perform the c- section. They should have talked to you about ti first and had you sigh a wavor, thats what they do here in california. ↑ |

| Hey i was the same after my C cec.. I felt like i hadnt even given birth casue I was prety well gassed up towards the end.. Did you labour first?? Why did you have A c cec?? Mine was no progress, i was 9cm dialated and he was in a posteria postion so didnt want to come out.... After that though I had 2 naturals and they were great... Hope in a month this one comes natural too! cant wait ↑ |

I had to have an emergency C-Section with my son.
I was 10c. and he was stuck in the birth canal..
Every time they told me to push his heart rate dropped to 60 which is extememly low......
I wasen't asked I was told....
I would rather have a healthy baby and be alive to see him then worry about signing a waver....
I don't know your story but I sure am glad I have that scar....
If I didn't , Id be dead or my precious son would have died... ↑ |

You had the C-section because you were not progressing AT ALL!....they had you on the highest, safest dosage of prostegan ...and yet still nothing...they could of waited but decided not to because of time you would of been in the state that you were....and ( i reckon) the time the doctor would have to wait around for you to progress...you were the only one there in labour and i think they wanted to go home....haahhahah...the price of giving birth in the boondocks!!! ↑ |

| I wasn't that dissapointed that I had to have a c-section.. I thought threw my whole pregnancy that i would end up with one and I did.. I was actually glad cos I had been in labour for like two days, I wasn't dilatting anymore ( I got to 7cms), My lil boy was getting distressed! I was just glad that there was another option! But the thing that I'm pissed off about is that cos I had the c-section I have to have another one this time.. I'd never thought about that consequence till I got pregnant like 18 weeks ago! (or whatever it is)... ↑ |

| after my c-section with my son i was told i had a choice next time round wether i wanted to have a natural or another c-section. i begged my doctor to give me a c-section after 40hours of labour i had enough. altho i felt tricked when i woke up i was told the mask they were putting over my face was oxegyn but it wasnt it was gas. ↑ |

| when I had my son there was a big thing I thought about suing for but then what was the point? when you deliver your baby your supposed to deliver the placenta within an hour of your child. They give you a shot to help the placenta along. My midwife never gave me the shot. So an hour and a half go by no placenta so she started to panic. She told me to push and proceeded to pull on my cord that was sticking out. It was excruciating and finally the damn thing came out. Three weeks later I stood up from my chair and a massive amount of blood came rushing out of me. It turns out that a lot of placental waste had been left behind. I needed two DNC's and Major antibiotics for the kidney / uterine infection. It turns out that she new the placenta hadn't been intact when it came out. I should of had ONE DNC there and then. Would have saved me four days in the hospital and anemia for a year after. Can you tell I'm still pissed at that one. : ) ↑ |
