I'm feeling much better. Thank you all for your well wishes. Would ya know, just as I'm better my little guys sicker than a dog! My question is.... He still gets croup. I was up with him all night last night. We've had to stay at the hospital before with him but not since he was really small. The doctors all say different things. Humidifier, no humidifier, cold air, hot air etc. He has had a fever and this terrible cough with the wheezing. What have you ladies found to help this? I'm up for any suggestions. I just want him to have a good sleep. He's sooo tired. Thanks all.

turn your shower on hot and close the door wait for a minute and until it is steamed up then take him in there that helps sometimes i had to do that with my girl when she was little thats what the doctor told me to do

Shoot well i looked.......nothing i have will do both. Phone a pharmacy......save on foods hon see what they say you could use. But the cold air humidifier is the best.

I'm not sure where you live, but if it's winter the doctor told me to bundle them up nice and warm and sit on the porch. That cold fresh air really helped mine. In about 2 days they were all cleared up. It really helps at night when they can't breath.

I agree with junebug. The hot steam from the running shower will help losen the phlem so he can cough it up easier.

Thanks you guys for the thoughts. I opened up the window in his room last night. Got the room quite cold while bundling him up, that seemed to help.. He finally went to sleep at about 2am and slept until 9am this morning, yay!! I'm just glad he got some sleep. The steam idea was great guys, maybe next time. ( I hope not a next time.) Thank you all.
