I took my son to ToysRUs so that he could spend his pocket money on something - he's been saving up.

He chose two Pirates of the Carribean ships - £9.99 each (approx. $38) for the two).

I got the damn things home and it's taken me 20 minutes to unpack just one of them. There was SOOOO much packing it's untrue. I needed: a pair of scissors, pair of tweezers and a screwdriver!!!!!!!!!! All for a little ship thing!!!!!!!!

When I did get it unpacked the rigging fell off the sails and the sail post thing keeps coming out of the ship!!!!!!! It is SOOOO bl**dy fragile it's pathetic!!!!!!!!!

I am SOOOO annoyed that people are making loads of money out of kids and parents for this CR*P!!!!!!!!!!

and..........

The damn kitten has cr*pped in the dining room.....AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I've put loads of disinfectant down and sprinkled a whole load of Cummin powder around the area............so the dining room now smells like a charwallahs underpants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm fed up :-(

Naughty Kitty and naughty ToysRUs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My day has sucked so far too.

i just got notified our house payment is going up $30.00 (because of our property taxes)

and our sewer bill is going up to $50.00

i sent the sewer people a nasty email because it went up because they lost their money

How did they lose their money? You mean with financial problems?

Tell me about the toys!!!! Christmas morning it takes us forever to open all the boxes and get the toys out. Oh and those bratz dolls, their hair is even attached to the box, so you have to pull it out in clumps!!!
I wish I had some ideas about the kitty!! I haven't had that with the our cat. It is our puppy!! She keeps craping in the house. Not so much now, but she did the other day right next to my feet!!!

Oh and the dogs keep wrestling right next to me, and they have bumped the computer twice and shut it off!

They just put the sewer in last year and they didn't plan properly, and none of them new anything about what they were doing. and now there firing people...we haven't heard there reasoning for that yet. In there letter they stated they will manage the wastewater account better whatever that means.

Geez, you are having a bad day Atomic Snowflake. Hey, guess what, tomorrow is a new day for ya. Hopefully, your day will get better.

I know exactly what you mean about the packaging of toys. It's unbelievable about how you practically need a jack hammer to get the silly things out of the box. That's probably why the prices of things are so expensive because we have to pay someone to tighten everything inside with bolt clamps.

Well, cheer up and have a better day.

i know how it is...i am having my hubbys family over today to celebrate christmas...we werent able to get together any other day...sooo that means a whole new crap load of toys, my house still isn't as clean as i'd like, my kids are acting wild, and my 10 month old is sooo crabby cuz she is cutting her top teeth!!! oh and the dessert i made yesterday feels like it's hard as a rock. luckily i guess we have cookies just in case!!! i'll be undoing all those damn toys after i did it for hours christmas day!! atomic snowflake...i laughed when i read your 2 yr old is calling you by name! TOO FUNNY

Koz, sounds like you have a crazy day, too. I know exactly what you mean about cutting those teeth. My 13 month old is already cutting her two year molars on top and bottom. Love the diaper changes. Poor thing, turns her little butt the color of a fire engine truck.

Name: koz | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 5:11 PM
i know...her little butt is so red and that just adds to the tooth pain...it's so sad!! i need to do some stuff and get off this darn computer!! I'm sooo sick of housework!!

Well, Koz---Have a great day, take care of yourself and little one. I always tell people that the maid was on vacation if I couldn't get to the cleaning in ample time.

Hey everyone!

It's good to hear about everyone elses gripes! At least we're all in the same boat *LOL*

My dining room stinks soooo bad now.........disinfectant and cumin powder........oh, yuk! The kitten is avoiding me like the plague as I yell at him every time I see him!

Nappy rash can be helped by using Metanium cream.....it has titanium dioxide in and it relieves both the pain AND the redness. It's brill!

When my dad came over for Christmas, the house was in really great shape, but as all you know when there are kids, there will still be a few things out, so I told his girlfriend, "sorry the house is a mess" She said "Yeah, but it is okay" I wanted to say, lady anytime you think you can handle it, come on over and do my job!

Name: momof3 | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 5:20 PM
Atomic, do they have that spray over there that makes the urine or poop smell go away? That is suppose to work real well. I can't think of the name of the one, do you want me to find it out?

Name: tweetybird4 | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 5:35 PM
Atomi---Cornstarch works good on the behind, too. After you smear the cream on then pat the little butt with the cornstarch. It works better than baby powder.

Momof3--Huh, if the lady thinks your house isn't up to her expectations, then well, she doesn't really have to be there, does she??? Sorry, that's so aggreivating when someone criticizes like that. Shame, shame, shame. I'll bet you could go through her house with a white glove and find some dirt?? Please shouldn't throw rocks at glass houses.

Well, they have a awsome house where they live, she doesn't work, she gets her hair and nails done on a weekly basis, and everytime I talk to her, she is just getting back from shopping!

Well, there's the first sign she doesn't do much around the house if her nails are so neatly manicured. Gosh, everytime, I've every had my nails done, they are totally trashed after I've done my housework. Mainly because I'm so hard on my hands. My guess is she hires someone else to do the work for her.

Name: momof3 | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 5:43 PM
No, my dad won't let her do that. She doesn't work, so he won't let her hire someone.

Name: tweetybird4 | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 5:46 PM
Hats off to your dad.

Atomic---I'm not sure if you are already doing this but using a skirt bottle filled with water is a good punishment for your cat. Everytime he/she attempts to be naughty, use the skirt bottle at it. Everytime one of my cats would look at one of my potted house plants, I would get him with the bottle. It's funny watching him take off running like he was shot in the behind.

Yeah atomic,i know what you mean about the packaging for toys! They are advertised is these BIG BRILLIANT boxes but by the time you get them out of the stupid box it seems the LAVISH toy actually fits in the palm of your hand!!!!! BIG disappointment! And they have it locked up in the box like there's a million bucks or a rare jewel hidden in it or something!!!! It's nuts!!!

Name: Lizzi | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 6:33 PM
Just their "extra mile" way of preventing theft I guess but sometimes you are so disappointed with what you are really getting by the time you get it out of the box that all you really want to do is take the cheap thing back!

Name: atomic snowflake | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 7:21 PM
tweetybird - the cat is only doing it when we're out of the house! He's as good as gold normally! He's only doing it in a couple of places as well. I put chilli powder down a couple of days ago, but he still returned to the same place. The cumin powder smells gross though!

momof3 - I have a friend a bit like your dads girlfriend. She doesn't work and her house is perfect! I feel so inadequate ever time I visit her and she's always dressed perfectly in the latest fashions and has her hair and nails done all the time! I'm always so sloppy in jeans and covered in food and paint from the toddler *LOL*

Lizzi - I didn't realise that the packaging was to prevent theft! I thought they were just doing it to be awkward! It's still annoying though!

Name: atomic snowflake | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 7:41 PM
Oh, and there you go! I've just been into the kitchen and the washing machine has just peed all over the floor!!!!!!!!!

Life just doesn't get any better does it??? *LOL*

atomic,
sometimes if you add an extra litter box to the house it can help with those little accidents. I don't know if you have tried that or not yet but if not, it might help.

Name: Hiddy | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 9:44 PM
Dont get me started on this atomic!!! lol

On Christmas day we spent more time trying to get the toys out of the damn boxes than what she spent playing with them!
It sucks! She got this robotic dog and it was wired, stickytaped and screwed into the damn box!

If someone wants that toy bad enough they are going to figure out a way to steal it, and screwing it into the box isnt going to stop them, they will just take the WHOLE box!

I remember when I was a kid, they just used really thin rubber bands and with a pair of scissors you could get a toy out of its box really quickly. Its just ridiculous! But they dont care, as long as it saves them money for toys being stolen.
They know your going to buy it for your child no matter how hard the packaging is to get into.

AND....I know how you feel, my dog spewed in our dining room this morning, thank god he did it on the tiles. I was dry reaching when I was cleaning it up....yuck.

Name: atomic snowflake | Date: Jan 6th, 2007 9:54 PM
EEEeeewwww........amimals are SOOOO disgusting *LOL* Almost as bad as kidz *LOL*

As for the extra kitty litter box. I might try that........that's a good idea. My husband is really gunnin' for this kitty! He's gone off him BIG time!!!!!!!!!!! He's really angry about all this kitty poo!

YIKES!!!!!!!!!
