So when did you ladies start to potty train your kids?

My daughter was easy to train. She was trained by 2.

My oldest son took forever. He was almost 3 1/2.

I'm starting to try to train my almost 2 year old son now, but I'm only sitting him on it when he asks....it's so funny because he goes, mummm cummm on and takes my hand and leads me to the potty. today was a good day he went 2x!

I can't wait till I'm done buying diapers.

as soon as my daughter understood it, she used the toilet by herself.

my son is doing ok with it! We have been training him for ages now It feels like.. He has little jock! (so cute!) and he knows that he has to use the toilet with them on.. I just leave the toilet door open and he goes himslef.. I used to have to ask him every half an hour if he needed to go but now he just does it by himself.. Its so cute! He never liked the potty he was straight on the toilet. He stands up and goes then puts the lids down climbs on the seat and flushes by himself! His doing really well.. The only thing I have to help him with is washing his hands and number twos...!

Boys take longer than girls.

I couldn't handle doing it at the moment as I have the kitten cr*pping on the carpet at the moment.....one thing at a time! *LOL*
