Thanks bmes, its so frustrating because my daughter whom is now 5 was so easy to potty train and i did the exact same thing with him as i did with her. Im thinking about mabey just taking him to the bathroom every 15 minutes or so and having him try and go potty. And another thing i was thinking was mabey he has a UTI, because a few days ago we were out running errands and he was having to go potty like every 10 minutes or so, but it doesnt seem like he has to go alot at home so im not sure if i need to take him to the doctor or not. Well thanks for the advice and i know he will be potty trained some day :) ↑ |
Boys in my experience are harder to potty train then girls..........
O.,k so he is potty trained but has regressed? This is common when they are nervous or worried about something.......and makes sence with pre school starting.....
I would not put him back into pullups......nope! Do not get upset, clean up the mess and move on, or it may make things worse......
also it is normal for kids to go to the washroom more when they are out......I do not know why, but it seems they are fasinated with them....
if you are concerned , o go to your family doctor and have things checked out.......it could be something, and if not it will ease your mind.
ohh and very active kids seem to be harder to train, because they do not want to stop what they are doing to go to te washroom. ↑ |
ohh and I also believe pull ups make training harder not easier. ↑ |
Have you tried bubbles in the potty or food coloring so that it changes when he pees in it? ↑ |
