My little parakeet died a couple weeks ago.

PLEASE...PLEASE! NO ...Awww I'm sorry!

He was a cute little guy, I had him for over 5 years but he was more in love with his reflection then he was with me. He was an old little guy, I noticed he was much slower and slept much more then he use to.

I did however provide him with a nice comfortable home and in return he provided me with a song each morning. Am I sad hes gone? No. will I miss his songs... Yes!

awww....lol....i could never have birds. they drive me fkin' nuts. they are pretty, but soooooo annoying. my grandparents had about 30 cockatiels...maybe more...can't remember...but then they started to breed, and kept killing their own babies, so they had to get rid of them....thank god!!!! lol....

I have a Meyers Parrot as well, I wont have to be concerned about him dieing to soon. Meyers live for about 30 years.

WOW! 30 birds, I would never be able to handle 30 birds.

I'm sorry. Poor little bird. He had a good life with you. I have 2 little birds and love their songs as well.

Thank you Joeys_Mam,

I would have been terribly upset if it was Oliver my Myers. Not that one is any better then the other but Oliver I have grown much more close to, he's my boy.

May the songs in Heaven sound even more cheerful with an added tweet!
