I just want to say thankyou to all my new friends here on this forum. i have never belonged to a chat room or forum before. i really value you all. and it is so nice to have the company in this stand offish world. people arent the social beings tey used to be. there is a new study saying people dont have the friends they used to due to the busy lives we have. so thankyou my friends. I am forever greatful. :)

yes there are many sacrifices we all make. your husband getting his degree is the most important. hand in there it will be worth it in the end.

what is his degree? how come it is taking so long. i suppose with working he isnt full time. it is difficult i still know it is worth it. Now days you need that edge the degree gives you. my husband and i dont have that. Boy do we regret it.

I just wanted to thank everybody also... this forum has really been amazing for me. Almost everyone on here has either given me some really good advice i'll use later, or is in the same boat as me and comiserates. I know this sounds nuts, but i really thought i was the only one who bought baby stuff already (while still trying for baby) and sure enough i found 3 other girls that did the same! and other "pee-on-the-stick-aholics" too. very reassuring. seems like no matter what's going on somebody on here had it happen, or knows what to do.

Isnt is fantastic.......I am certain there are many of these forums out there........but so far I am not willing to go that avenue. The women here are hard working loving mothers who just need the outlet they would not otherwise have. That goes for me too.

Thank you all so very much for your comments...thoughts....differing opinions....concerns....well wishes...advice at times....understanding...compasion, knowledge....unwavering support....prayers. Amazing!

I think the study is right. I'm not really sure where my friends went off to. My friends who are parent are busy with work and their families and it's really hard with our schedules to get together as much as we would like. And my single friends seem to have gone off into hiding. I talk to them when I see them out in public but it more as if we are more of aquantances then we are friends now.

Thats ok your not the first to confuse me with Lynne. they are very simular.
Ethans mom- I know what you mean about people being stand offish. old friends. I guess we are blessed in life if we have one friend that you can count on. I think that is why so manny of us depend on the baby forums we need social interaction and cant find it. i thought of inviting people over and have a cookout. I guess Im afraid of rejection do you feel this way. Im living in a small town we moved here 4 years ago It is not a friendly town people will avoid even looking at you as they might have to say hi. Are they insecure themselves wht is going on in our world. why is there so much depression? we all just want to be excepted dont we? sorry this is so long but this is something that really bothers me and i spend alot of time thinking about.
