Hey girlies......
So ok ive been in the states for 2 months now..and ive been buying nappies here for oliver. They are HORRIBLE!!
ive tried 3 differnt brands, they are like paper and he pisses right through them. Wtf?
I use Huggies in aussie and they are great..no worries ever with them. But the ones here are shithouse.
Can someone save me some time and money and tell me what is the best brand to buy. He is nearly 2 years old and about 15 kilos or 30 poundish? ↓

i hate the regular huggies...I use huggies supremes or pampers cruisers size 4. the lbs is on the box for size. ↑ |
hey sarah!! :-)
i didn't think they'd be so different....huh?!?!?! well...i'm in Canada, but I use Pampers for Lex....never had a leak. he wears the size 4.
also...he's about the same age as Anika...have you tried the pullups? i don't use them for potty training reasons... just use em cause they are easier and more convenient...i don't have to lay her down each time to change her....much faster and easier on me... :-) mind you they definately don't hold AS MUCH pee in them....
potty training is not going so well for us over here!! have you started to try yet? ↑ |
I always liked the white cloud diapers from walmart. They worked great for both of mine. Are you living here in the US now? ↑ |
mabe go up a size..sometimes the weights are off a bit...
but then again i had the problem with king and over nights..i used to use all the cheap brands..but hej ust pissed so much..so i switched to huggies naturals once and never had a problem...
this last time brent bought regular old huggies..and he is leaking..not as bad..but he cant go as long in the morning..so i am going back to the naturls..a bit more expensive..but oh well.. ↑ |
ha ha ha...well have fun!! :-)
Universal Studios is so awesome!!
and Downtown Disney is alot of fun at night too!! hubby and I went to the ESPN bar there, and it was a football night, but we got lucky and found the only seats left in the place right in front of the one tv they were actually showing a hockey game, and it was our team playing!! aaaaannnnnddddd....that's all i can remember from that night...ha ha ↑ |
I live in Ft. Lauderdale, I haven't been up there for the halloween horror nights at Universal yet myself. But, I've heard from grown men that the Universal thing is kinda scary. ↑ |
I live in Port St. Lucie half the week and the other half in Pompano Beach, which is right near Ft. Lauderdale!! Ive been to Halloween horror nights once, and it was a blast!!
ohh and as for diapers I use the Huggies Natural Fit ones, I like them the best! ↑ |
Natural fit are the ones they have at Sam's aren't they? I really don't like those either. Its seems like the kids pee once and the diaper sags down to their knees. I lived in Coral Springs about 10 years ago until I moved to Ft Lauderdale, and now we are going to move over to Davie. But its really all SFL isn't it? All the concrete connects it all the way to MIAMI!!! ↑ |
LOL yep, all pretty much south Florida, but I love Davie!! its more of farms and such!
The Huggies supreme natural fits, i have never seen at Sams Club or BJ's I think normally they are like a few dollars more than the huggies leak lock! But I prefer the Natural fit/ Supreme ones over the leak lock ones
They are in the all red packaging! and Have winnie the pooh and the Leak lock have micky mouse and are in the half red half white packaging! ↑ |
Yep ive decide we are going to halloween horror nights this year, it looks so awesome!!! ↑ |
Hey Sarah!!! Are you here visiting Brandon (i hope I remembered his name right) parents?
Anyway on the diaper thing, we love White cloud from walmart. They are cheap and work great. ↑ |
HEY sweets.
No i'm not. Basically in the last 2 years ive had minimal contact with them. They dont seem that genuine, plus brandon ( yes thats right ) had another kid, so i'm guessing they are more intrested in that.
The old saying out of sight out of mind. They know im here, and decided to send me a few 'smart arse" emails. So ive decided out of best intrest for oliver they never meet. He can when he is old enough to make that decision himself :)
I'm here with my partner and ollie. We are looking at buying a house here, so its all very exciting. See how everything goes.
How are things with you? i havent seen your name in many posts, thought you might of been MIA. ↑ |
I personally use Pampers Cruisers for my 2 yr old son. Not baby dry I dont think they hold up quite as well but Crusiers. Good luck!! ↑ |
