I'm going to make stew in the crockpot. Actually I use Banquets crockpot classics in the bag! Effortless for me!!!! I like it when the crockpot does all the work!!! All i have to do is throw it in,turn it on and maybe give it a stir once in awhile!!!! I wish every night could be a crockpot night! Oh,well, can't have everything we want now can we! Lol

I'm on my own tonight because my dh is out of town for the night. Not sure what I'll fix for myself but it will be something he doesn't like. Could be something as simple as a fried bologna sandwich.

It's a southern thing to do. Toby Keith's restaurants serve them...I'd like to try one.

Yeah,but what is it?

It's northern beans. They come already cooked in a jar or you can buy them in a bag and cook them yourself which takes alot longer and they taste exactly the same. I bake my cornbread with a little sugar sprinkled on top and then I crumble it on a plate and spoon the beans over it,it's good!!!! I also chop up some ham into small pieces and cook it in with the beans,it's very good!

Right now if I continue to feel like I do I am not going to make ANYTHING. I will just have my husband pick something up. Otherwise I think I might have Chicken Dumpling Stew over Mash Potatoes...

Love the Banquet Crockpot Classics but for some off reason our local grocery store nolonger carry the stew which is my husband's favorite.

I've heard if you could see how cotttage cheese is made you would never want to eat it again! I like it too!

It was something my grandma made in OK when I was a kid. Fresh diced tomatoes, chopped onions, jalopeno pepper marinated in vinegar and sugar. I put salt in mine too and I just spoon it over the top
