where I live on the west coast on B.C we have very rainy winters......we usually get snow a couple of times which lasts for a few days each time.........but everything bascially shuts down when we get snow........we have very mild winters..........( for cananda)
Spring and fall can bring beautiful warm weather, or again could be rain......

summers are great, except when our humidity goes sky high..........then it is too flippin hot!

where I live i am surrounded by mountains, I am failrly near the ocean, - a rain forest.......
so the rain gets trapped, and we see lots of rain but wow we have beautiful green green green everything!

the past few days have been a bit wet, but pretty worm for this time of year, the temp has been about mid to high 50s. No snow yet, and I am not looking forward to it either.

lol winn....yes i know...NOBODY knows how to drive in the snow on the coast. and they never buy winter tires...stupid people...i remember one year hubby and I were driving into Van to go watch a canucks game...and it actually snowed that night....i had never seen so many vehicles in the ditch!!! ha ha

anyways, where I live we pretty much get ALL four seasons. summer is hot hot hot and dry dry dry...lol....fall is acutally pretty nice here...not TOO much rain..mostly sunny but cool crisp air. winters...well they suck here....lol....not as much snow as some places and most of the time it's fairly mild, but it can get REALLY damn cold and it's gray ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLllll the time...very depressing...unless you ski...then it's absolutely GORGEOUS on the ski hills most of the time...and spring is typical...rainy, warm, sunny...lol...

i wonder how much different it's going to be where we are moving...hopefully the winters aren't as depressing...lol

here it is
Spring-starts out bitterly cold until after Easter (we have pictures of the girls in snow suits hunting eggs the last two years) then it gets mild but with massive rains
Summer- very humid heat with drought conditions often and when we do get rain it floods
Autmn-it is so pretty here, We are in the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains and all of the trees turn colors we actually have a Fall Festival of the leaves about 5 miles from my house. Then it gets cold and windy but not to bad
Winter-snow ice rain cold but the air is really dry until it sends water out of the sky. The snow is pretty for a while then it turns black from people!
It really is a varied climate here ranging from about 105 Average in the summer with humidity and about 20 below with windchill in the winter

We are gray all winter also. Our suicide rate goes through the roof halfway through the winter.

cherisa, i was talking about that a little while ago in a post....because it's so cloudy and depressing here in the winter, there are TONS of people around here that use tanning beds. they help tremendously for people you suffer from SAD...we don't use them for very long....maybe 5 minutes every couple/few days....does WONDERS!! we have to here, or you'll get seriously depressed... a friend of mine got into a TOTAL funk last winter and didn't leave her house AT ALL, nobody heard from her... and she wound up gaining like 80 pounds....
