ok ladies I have a bit of a controversy here lol
I am going to get a new vaccuum this weekend
Fred's dollar store has a Bissel Powerforce for only $25...Walmart has one too but it cost double that and it doesn't look the same. different color and style but still a Bissell Powerforce. My q is...would you take the cheaper one from the dollar store or just go to walmart. my hubby wants to go to walmart and spend the exra money cuz he feels they have better products...but i'm a bit of a tight wad lol i want to keep my money hehehe ↓

I would have to agree with your husband only because I'm a bit anal. I like the dollar stores only for certain things.....and I never buy food stuffs.
I buy things that I can recycle into something else...for example...they are stalking easter items. I bought 10 spring hats in different shapes and colors and then bought flowers and hot glued them on for my dress up closet for the kids. Sunglasses with the lenses removed and decorated are fun too!
But as far as an applicance goes.....Walmart will take back just about anything for any reason with or without a receipt for several months. Will the dollar store take it back if you aren't pleased? ↑ |

| i got to my local dollar store often and buy things...for a vaccuum??? for me, i would choose the dollar store, b/c it is cheaper...but my hubby would rather spend the money and buy the more expensive one. if it's the same darn brand than i don't see a problem getting the cheaper one...but my hubby sees money as no object...he always says " i can easily make more"...haha. i got one back in the summer b/c mine had just had it..i wanted the $40 dollar one with the bag, and my hubby said no and bought one of the most expensive ones they had...but needless to say that it's one of the best vaccuum's i've ever had...good luck!! ↑ |

I have to buy a new vacuum about every two years myself because I use it 4 to 5 times a day. I can truly abuse any applicance I buy but I still buy the best. Mine simply die from over use.....but in the meantime, I want the best product I can get to do a good job.
Just because the surface crap is picked up doesn't mean it's doing a thourough job. I used to be a surface cleaner but not anymore....too many allergens lurking about making us sick. ↑ |

| Morning hdc! well hon.....thing is..with "wallyworld" hehehheheh you can always return the thing as long as you have you bill you get ALL your money back. If you dont have the bill they still take it back but give you the last sale price on the item. I work Dollar general but...I would get it a wal-mart.
DG gets a lot of seconds and I always end up returning electrical products. Also the return policies at DG are 30 days only. ↑ |
