my son is autistic and he needed to be put under anistedic he got all of his teeth done. we got home about an hour ago and he is really out of it he can barely hold his head up is this normal??? hes sleeping now but weve never had surgery before so i dont really know what the after effects are ↓

its perfectly normal. it takes a few hours to even a few days sometimes for the tiredness to wear off. my baby has never had surgery but i personally have had several since i was born. ↑

My stepson has had 2 now, he had tonsils out and a hernia repair. It takes anyone who has been put under awhile to come out of it, and sleeping is normal. If you can easily rouse him, he is fine. If you try to wake him and he doesn't wake, you need to call your doctor or go to the E.R. ↑
