well i saved my first sons stuff until he was 4 years old and figured since i was divorcing his dad we wouldn't need it..but 6 months after i got rid of most of it..i got preggo..so save it for awhile until you get a tubal..and think real hard about a tubal..not sure your age..but you might meet someone else..dont make a decision in haste because of what has happened lately

I am keeping everything. I am hoping to have another boy with this pregnancy. After I am done having kids, my sister in law has asked to have all of our baby stuff.

Do you have someone you could give/sell it to? You could try a consignment store, or ebay and make a little money off of them.

There are stores that will take the clothing and pay you either up front or once they sell.

If you are not looking for money, then I am sure that any thrift store will take them. Just drop them off.

I asked a woman at daycare if she needed things for her newborn and she was so greatfull and Now we are having a coffee sometime.. Its nice to make a friend and I give all my baby stuff away. I know how much I LOVE getting hand me downs for my kids, they grow so quick and most of the stuff I get given is near new..

I gave part of my stuff away to two girls I know that were pregnant. I kept the good stuff because I just wasn't sure if we were done. Sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not. My sister is pregnant now and I feel like I need to hurry up and decide. If I'm not having any more then I would like to give it to her. I did have a yard sell and sold some stuff that was just in the way. Just make sure you don't want anymore kids before the tubal. I know a lot of women that have changed their minds. 29 is still young.

well we kept Anika's clothes in case we had another girl, and ended up with a boy...so now we have boys clothes, girls clothes galore!!! we're not planning on having another baby for another 5 years or so, so i think i will have a garage sale....and then when i get pregnant again, i'll buy new stuff.

have a garage sale!!!

I gave all of Curtis's things from when he was a baby to Goodwill. But now we just throw the clothes out because they are pretty used up anyway. (he's 16 now)

when i had my son i got rid of just about everything....except his crib. the only things i kept were special outfits and toys. i had a yardsale and then took a bunch of things to my local consignment shop and set up an account with them. so when i found out i was pregnant again i didn't know what to do...but i have just about everything i need now...i just need to get a few odds and ends stuff....i only have about 9 weeks to go.

Irene, any reputable charity will give you a receipt that YOU can fill in the dollar amount. Just be sure you have an itemization of what you donated, so that you know how much to claim. (or in case you get audited) Remember though that you will not get retail prices for the donation, but a percentage. Still, it all adds up!!!!!

Yardsales are only good if you have enough stuff to display IMO.
